The SteelSeries Apex 9 TKL UK (64848) is a high-performance tenkeyless optical gaming keyboard featuring OptiPoint Optical switches, selectable 1.0mm or 1.5mm actuation, an ultra-fast 0.2ms response time, and hot-swappable optical switches. With Double Shot PBT keycaps, an aluminum top plate, and per-key RGB lighting, it is designed for fast competitive gaming.
Product Overview
The SteelSeries Apex 9 TKL UK (64848) combines esports-focused performance with a compact tenkeyless layout that removes the number pad to provide more room for mouse movement. Its custom OptiPoint Optical switches use light-based actuation for zero debounce and an ultra-fast 0.2ms response time.
Users can switch between two actuation points: 1.0mm for fast gaming response or 1.5mm for more deliberate and accurate typing. The OptiPoint switches are also swappable, allowing compatible switches to be replaced or customized. Premium Double Shot PBT keycaps, a Series 5000 aluminum top plate, detachable USB-C cable, onboard memory, and per-key RGB lighting complete the gaming-focused design.
